Shift kit installs from bottom of your transmission. It is not necessary to completely remove the entire transmission for this installation. The pan, internal filter and valve body will be removed for install. Husker Diesel highly recommends professional installation as well as a fluid change/flush with new internal and external filters at time of installation.
